Hauer-Trout Run Nature
Preserve
A fine run to hike. It has just been made longer so one can hike even further upstream. A nice preserve of rocky areas and nature.
The only obstacle to this preserve is entering it. It is on Pennsy Road east of Pequea. Once you go under the rail road tracks you stay strait along the R/R Track Bed. As soon as you cross the stream you are there. Once parked on the south side of the road you need to either wade in the run using the tunnel or use the path up and over the rails to trails road bed.
